Dear  Alumna/Alumnus,

I am writing this letter to you on behalf of the Alumni Association. While going through the records maintained in IETE, I find that you have passed one of the qualifying examination of institution e.g., DIPIETE/ Grad. IETE/ AMIETE/ ALCC examination and I am sure by virtue of this qualification you might have upgraded yourself in your profession. It is to inform you that by now over 200 IETE pass outs have indicated their willingness to register as a member of the Alumni Association of IETE.

IETE Alumni Association aims at furthering the aims and objectives of the Institution and will help all the members to achieve professional excellence and provide better interaction amongst members of IETE, provide opportunities to upgrade our skills & knowledge and share the IETE platforms in organizing various technical and welfare activities for the benefit of its members.

Through this letter, I am seeking your involvement, support and valuable suggestions/ inputs in terms of the following: -

• First of all let us all register as a member of the IETE Alumni's association by paying a onetime registration fees of Rs. 1000/-. The payment can be made in favour of “Secretary General, IETE Alumni account” payable at New Delhi by cheques/Demand draft etc. I have already paid Rs.1000/- for my registration. My other colleagues are following the suit.
• Immediately, a User ID and password is issued and using the same please update your profile and contact details in Data base of IETE Alumni members maintained at IETE website to share and synergize on the availability of expertise, skills with in the IETE Alumni members. Please give me full details in terms of the area of your expertise, position in company and any other achievements made by you.
• While updating/ registering, please also indicate in which of the following ways you can help IETE fraternity as a whole and IETE students, Diploma holders, graduates and post graduates qualifying from IETE in particular: -
• In terms of placement
• In terms of training
• In terms of industry linkages
• In terms of project work
• In terms of financial support
• In any other ways
